1.
I'll write letters to the sun, Petitioning the winter come, Naked hands held in my arms, So I can feel a lover's warmth. • With your hand in mine, With your hand in mine, With your head right by, My side. • I'll hold back the burning tide, That floods the rivers of my mind. Burning bright, Oh burning bright Waters cool and wrought with ice. • With your hand in mine, With your hand in mine, With your head right by, My side.
2.
She only asks me separate questions, Division tangled with affection, Perhaps it is my convalescence, It is not one of us. • Some liquid form of affirmation, In part it was a conversation, The only thing that this was missing, It is not one of us. • I don't want to break you, I don't want to break you, Anymore. • She birthed in me some kind of Eden, Where I could keep my secrets hidden, The only thing that this was missing, It is not one of us. • I don't want to break you, I don't want to break you, Anymore.
3.
Didn't want to escape you, But the coward in my chest still loves to fight. Never meant to erase you, But I couldn't place you in this heart of mine, 'Cause the glory never seemed to make me shine. • Run, We will run, We will run, Shed our skin, And leave this blood, In our hearts. • Didn't want to forgive you, But there's gnashing in my teeth, I'm running wild. Never meant to forget you, But the lonesome days I spent here as a child, Made my gravity forget my feet are tied. • Run, We will run, We will run, She's our skin, And leave this blood, In our hearts.
4.
There ain't no reason, To throw everything away, All the passing time we spent, Inside the hull. Despite my treason, The mutiny within my bones, I cannot sail this ship alone, I am not whole. • But you were sinking like a stone. Sinking like a stone in my arms. • Amidst my failure, I hope the crooked man will fade, As the hours pass away, Here at the bottom. Will something grow here? There is no way to know for sure, But I will sit and wait until I've known, I've lost her. • But you were sinking like a stone, Sinking like a stone in my arms.

Dancer 02:17
All of my ashes, Blow with the wind. Simple refrains, For the earth to take in. Boxes of matches, Sit on my skin. I guess this is how it begins.
6.
Drifter 03:10
Rising water, My breath falters, But I can't escape. Hard to picture, When your diction, Can become so fake. • You have made, A fool out of me, Too many times, For me to believe, These childish games, I can't always play. • More than rain, Falling down. More than shadows, On the ground, Maybe one day, We'll be found. • Boundless waters, My heart tremors, Catacombs of grey. Death becomes me, Send my body, Somewhere seasons change. • You have made, A fool out of me, Too many times, For me to believe, These childish games, I can't always play. • More than rain, Falling down. More than shadows, On the ground, Maybe one day, We'll be found. • Maybe one day I'll be found. Maybe one day I'll be found. Maybe one day I'll be found.

Part 06:12
I guess this is just, Another song, Recounting all my thoughts. For melodies, They seem so wrong, To convey all you are. • And the context in which I imagine, Is a heart full of life. And the poets could never quite capture, 'Cause they must not have seen you, That night. • So take off, Your glasses, Lay your dress upon, My floor. Your makeup, On my skin, I am sure that I'm not really sure. I am sorry, You can't see me, I don't know who I am anymore. So take off, Your glasses, Lay your dress upon, My floor. • I guess this is just, Another song, Recounting all my loss. • So, take off, Your glasses, Lay your dress upon, My floor.

Parcel 03:28
Settle down honey, Dry your tears, It'll be alright, It'll be alright. When the water gets muddy, Hasn't rained for several years, It'll be alright, It'll be alright. • Darkness only lasts, Until the morning. Blue skies are ahead, Where clouds are less stormy, Hold on to the light, Don't give up the fight, It'll be alright, It'll be alright. • Rest your head, In the brightness of the sun, There are better days to come, There are better things to come. Don't you fret, When you're feeling small and young, There are better days to come, There are better things to come. • Darkness only lasts, Until the morning. Blue skies are ahead, Where clouds are less stormy, Hold on to the light, Don't give up the fight, It'll be alright, It'll be alright.

about

In his sophomore release, “Part, Parcel” explores the beauty and depth of contrast. The aim, twofold, is to create a sense of understanding in paradox, but also to bring light and awareness to mental health issues through understanding life/death.

"I wish to speak a word for Nature, for absolute freedom and wildness, as contrasted with a freedom and culture merely civil—to regard man as an inhabitant, or a part and parcel of Nature, rather than a member of society." -Thoreau

“Standing on the bare ground,--my head bathed by the blithe air and uplifted into infinite space,--all mean egotism vanishes. I become a transparent eyeball; I am nothing; I see all; the currents of the Universal Being circulate through me; I am part or parcel of God.” -Emerson
